Fibre laser cutting
At Hughes Fabrications we specialise in fibre optic lasers, we think that they are the best machines to use. Compared to older CO₂ laser machines, fibre cutting systems generate higher power using less electricity, this therefore makes the machines cheaper to run with cost savings passed on to customers, with the added bonus of reducing carbin footprint when producing the cut parts.
Because of the laser wavelength used on a fibre cutting system it is only suited for metals, therefore we can’t cut wood or plastics, sorry!
